Start with why you need the report
A registration inspection supports a licensing transaction. A comprehensive or pre-purchase test is intended to give more information about the vehicle’s condition. A report useful when buying a used car should not be assumed to replace the required registration inspection.
Ask the provider to explain the scope, the written output and any exclusions. Confirm separately with the licensing authority which certificate it requires.
Pick a location that offers the service
ADNOC identifies comprehensive testing at Muroor, Motor World, Mahawi, its Abu Dhabi Car Care Centre and Al Ain Falaj Hazza. Tasjeel also describes a comprehensive test. Do not assume every branch in either network offers the same assessment.
The directory explicitly labels centres included on the basis of comprehensive-testing evidence. Check renewal-inspection availability separately at those locations.
Read the report as a scoped assessment
Ask what systems are inspected and whether the assessment includes a road test or other checks appropriate to the vehicle. Clarify any access or owner-permission requirements before booking.
A report reflects the inspection performed and its limitations. It is not a warranty of the vehicle’s future reliability, value or hidden history.
Plan the licensing step separately
If you buy the vehicle, use the ownership-transfer or registration process relevant to the transaction. Check whether another inspection or certificate is required, and which party is responsible for each step.
Keep the purchase decision separate from the administrative requirement: both matter, but one report may not satisfy both purposes.

Ask what the report actually covers
Before buying an optional package, ask for the inspection scope: diagnostic scan, structural checks, paint observations, mechanical assessment and any road test are not interchangeable. Ask which checks are excluded and whether the report is delivered in writing.
Use the findings to ask targeted follow-up questions or commission specialist assessment. A test is a snapshot of the checks performed; it cannot guarantee future reliability or reveal every hidden defect.
ADNOC locations and separate prices
ADNOC lists comprehensive testing at Muroor, Motor World, Mahawi and Car Care Centre in Abu Dhabi, plus Falaj Hazza in Al Ain. Its published comprehensive price is AED 350. Its separate computerized chassis measurement service is AED 475 and the FAQ identifies Falaj Hazza for that service. These are separate products, not mandatory extras to every renewal.

Can a comprehensive report replace the renewal inspection?
Do not assume so. Ask the licensing authority which test and certificate it requires.
Is a pass a mechanical warranty?
No. An inspection result is not a warranty or a prediction of future reliability.
